Prom & Graduation Saturation Patrols

Project Overview

Prom and graduation season have a higher incidence of youth substance use and dangerous driving. To reduce substance use and dangerous driving during prom and graduation season, Green Peak Alliance partners worked together with various law enforcement departments to coordinate an advertised, increased law enforcement presence to discourages these behaviors and increases health in the community. Proms for several schools and prom after parties had large law enforcement presences at them and police departments increased the number of patrol cars on the road during this high-risk season for youth.
