Project Overview
How does aging affect use of cannabis? Aging makes your body more sensitive to the effects of cannabis, especially when combined with other substances or medications. The other fact is, cannabis today isn’t what it was back in the day—it’s much stronger! For older adults, it takes less to create a risk of a medical emergency or other harmful effects. This toolkit includes six social media posts with captions sharing advice on how older Vermonters can stay safe. Health providers and other organizations are encouraged to copy & download the content to be shared around their community platforms.
